WHAT IS HAHS?

The Historic Artists’ Homes and Studios program (HAHS) is a coalition of 55 museums that were the homes and working studios of American artists. Come, witness creativity.

Support

Please consider donating to Historic Artists’ Homes and Studios to help us continue our work in ensuring the preservation of our nation’s sites of artistic heritage.

As the only organization dedicated to telling a site-specific story of this country’s art history, HAHS believes in saving places, and environments that creative people have distinctively shaped.

As a collective, this organization does what no one site can do on its own: draw national audiences and promote the study of artists’ former living and workspaces.

Together with your help, we can continue to support our membership through professional mentoring, public outreach, and fostering peer learning and creative exchange. Your support will enable us to develop new public programming and educational initiatives for a diverse audience.

There are several ways to give a 100% tax-deductible contribution to the program:

Checks may be written payable to Chesterwood, with a designation of Historic Artists’ Homes and Studios in the memo line.
Please mail to: Attn: Valerie Balint, Historic Artists’ Homes and Studio, C/O Chesterwood, P.O. Box 827, Stockbridge, MA 01262

Credit Card donations may be made directly though a link provided by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the parent organization of Historic Artists’ Homes and Studios. Click Here for Credit Card Transactions

Please feel free to reach out to vbalint@savingplaces.org with additional questions.

Thank you for your support of HAHS!
