Furnishing a Dream: A Star Woodworker’s Handmade Home and Studio Unlocks Visitors’ Creative Side by Lydia Lee (Preservation Magazine, Fall 2026)

The Sam and Alfreda Maloof Foundation for Arts and Crafts in Rancho Cucamonga, California, is featured in the Fall 2026 issue of the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Preservation Magazine. “Furnishing a Dream” visits the handmade home and workshop of woodworker Sam Maloof and artist Alfreda Maloof as the site marks the 25th anniversary of its historic move.
